La da da .. da da da dee .. da dee da dee da dee da dee. I
took a stroll .. the minutes roll .. I've paced around for peace, y'know. But
I don't do .. a single brew .. I walk out of the coffee store. And

I'm nothing more than a nothing man; my adventures have a lukewarm start and end, and
as I went over to type it out, I fell asleep with a finger holding down "D".

I took a swim .. with Wayland Jim .. said "X can never mark the spot". But
I still ate .. my lunch that day .. But every single goal is out of my lane.

Twenty-five grand's the stake on the line and all that I have's the ache in my mind, but
I will forget the prize that I'll lose coz it is far from the smile upon you.

___ I don't know where my heart is floating tonight; floating away.
___ I don't know where my heart is floating tonight; floating away.

I don't know where I stand in myself. The tides and the wind blew books off my shelf. But
I know the way my boat sails tonight for you are in sight despite all the light.

Pragmatic Jellyfish

3/4
(Chords are improvised, so I didn't write any)
(The) Pragmatic Jellyfish look out the window to
see the great sharks of the sea. They're
hungry for jellyfish out of their homes, their
teeth exude vicious intentions. But
Pragmatic Jellyfish did come prepare for
when these sharks ravish their town. They
forged life insurance shares in their friends' names, so
if they survive, they're well off.
(So) when the great beasts came around, the
basement was surely the best place to be. They
feasted on net-loads of human remains they
got from the day the bombs fell on the beach. But the
sharks, it turns out, were soon wise to the plan. They
smelt the dead blood in the cellar. So they
barged through the door on the trail of their noses. The
Jellyfish lived on no more.

G C Em [A D]
I see you're sitting all alone, so if you don't mind, I'm here; Hello!
My name is Mark, and you're not from town, but don't let that dissuade you or put you down.
C C7 [G D] E7
The people here are A-OK to me. But I
A D
still want you to know where to find me.
C C7 [G D] E7
I used to play the role of shying away. But I
A D
found the tune that whisked my fears away.
G C Em [A D]
I always find you looking down, but I'm prepared to turn it upside down.
I live and breathe on the edge of my seat, and I stare down the face of Professor Defeat.
C C7 [G D] E7
The people here are A-OK to me. But I
A D
still want you to know where to find me.
C C7 [G D] E7
I used to play the role of shying away. But I
A D
found the tune that whisked my fears away.
Em Am C D
You read like an open book; I can tell right where you're coming from.
I used to share your state of mind; and if you stick around, you'll be living mine.
